Understanding Programmed Cell Death:

Programmed cell death (PCD) is a vital process that regulates cellular life cycles. It ensures organism development and health. Conversely, excessive PCD can lead to degenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s, where too many cells die. The balance of cell survival and death is crucial for maintaining health.
