Say no to Sucide
My Whole existence is burden.

“My whole existence is a burden”. This is not just a sentence. This is a deep sigh of someone who was extremely disappointed because of back to back failures. Indeed, failure and disappointments are the major part of almost everyone’s life. If we see history, we would find multiple examples of successful people with terrible pasts. Only a few people are lucky enough who achieved almost everything without any failure and difficulty, but in real life is not a piece of cake.

My whole existence is a burden

Now the question is what leads to failure and disappointment?

Back to back is the only reason behind someone’s depression?

What about society and people who play a crucial role in someone’s life regarding their failure and success?

Yes, these are some important questions that should be answered. Whenever we hear or watch someone’s suicide news almost everyone mentions  such tag “ suicide victim” with their name and spread it like fire everywhere. Unfortunately. This act of sharing such news only highlights their failure and disappointment towards life.

Why no one talks about the factors behind such incidents??

Factors Behind Suicide Cases.

Disappointments:

A person becomes disappointed when they didn’t acheive their objective. Everyone has different wants and wishes. Someone wants to become a doctor, someone wants to become an army officer and someone wants to become a CSP officer. Apart from professional life, everyone has multiple wishes regarding their life partners, lifestyle, children etc.

When disappointment hits a person?

Yes, this happens when a person loses their hopes to achieve that particular goal and it begins when they get rejected multiple times. Rejection leads to disappointment.

Failure

Immediately following each other Failure in someone’s life leads to failure in their life, and they regard themselves as a loser. Failure leads to sadness, in which a person loses all hope and abandons their life.

Society and Family Pressure.

“Man is born free but everywhere is in chains.” ( Jean-Jacques Rousseau,). People talk about human rights and freedom but do you think they are free to live according to their will and wish?

Almost everyone is accountable to their family and societal norms. Though this is something important for the smooth functioning of the family system and society what about excessive pressure and emotional stress given by society and family?

Oh no! You have again failed your CSS attempt? See I told you, you cant do it because you don’t have that calibre.

In a nutshell, this fact has to be accepted that our society and family norms play a major role in damaging someone psychological health.

Recommendations to tackle such situations:

  1. Everyone should be responsible for keeping an eye on people around them. They should be handled with kindness if they are melancholy or disappointed.
  2. Rather than forcing their wishes on their children, families should understand their children’s wants and needs.
  3. All of the following should be accompanied by a deep belief in Allah’s decision and the ability to go forward in any situation. Only those who consistently put forth effort toward achieving their goals successfully.
