Blow to PML-N, From PP 241, PML-N member Punjab Assembly Kashif Mahmood de-notified, Election Commission de-notified Kashif Mahmood on the basis of ineligibility. One seat has become vacant in Punjab Assembly of PML-N, Election Commission has de-notified MPA Kashif Mehmood.




According to the details, PML-N has suffered a setback, one seat has become vacant in the provincial assembly of PML-N. According to the Election Commission, Kashif Mehmood was de-notifie on the basis of ineligibility.

It should be noted that on July 22, the court of Acting Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Amir Farooq rejected the contempt of court petition. Against the Election Commission regarding Pakistan Muslim League (N) Member of Punjab Assembly Kashif Chaudhry from Bahawalnagar.

Delivering a reserved verdict on the contempt of court petition filed against the Election Commission for not de-notifying Kashif Chaudhry, the court declared that the contempt of court petition against the Election Commission does not stand.

Kashif Chaudhry’s appeal in the Supreme Court was also dismisse, for non-de-notification.




Contempt of court action was requeste against the Election Commission. On which the Islamabad High Court Rejected the request for contempt of court proceedings against the Election Commission.

It should be note that the Supreme Court upheld the decision of the High Court. On the disqualification of PML-N MPA Kashif Mehmood in the fake degree case. A three-member bench of the Supreme Court heard the appeal of Legi MPA Kashif Mehmood.




The bench rejected the appeal of Kashif Mehmood while upholding the decision of the High Court. Kashif Mehmood had challenged the High Court’s disqualification decision in the fake degree case in the Supreme Court.
