PSL Matches will be played from 9th to 24th of June 2021 in Abu-Dhabi

PSL (Pakistan Super League) tournament is all set to resume in Abu Dhabi. The PSL tournament was postponed due to the detection of Coivd-19 in players. However, the tournament is going to resume from the 9th of June. Teams will play all the matches in Abu Dhabi. The Final of the tournament will take place on June 24th, 2021. The match format will be following a compressed schedule. The format will follow six doubleheaders. The games will begin at 5 pm Abu Dhabi time, 8 PM local time, and 10 PM for single matches. The remaining matches of the tournament will continue from the 9th of June to the 19th of June 2021.

PSL 6 2021

The Qualifier and First Eliminator will be played on the 21st of June. Also, the second qualifier will be played on the 22nd of June. The final match will begin on the 24 of June in Abu Dhabi Stadium. PSL fans were longing for the matches to take place. However, the resumption of the tournament was subject to challenges. The challenges involve logistics arrangements and approval from the government of Abu Dhabi. Also, the exemption of production crew from India and South Africa was another major barrier.

Reportedly, the franchises and PCB had a consensus to resume the remaining matches of the tournament. However, the objective of resuming the remaining matches is nearly achieved. Pakistan is all set for its next bilateral tournament after PSL. The squad will be flying to England for their tournament. Pakistan’s Cricket squad will land in Manchester and later move to Derby. The squad will be in isolation for 10 days before their way to Cardiff for ODIs.
