Dates of England tour to Pakistan to be announced soon: Rameez Raja
English fans and cricket experts want to come to Pakistan to watch thrilling cricket between the two teams: Chairman PCB British Commissioner Christian Turner called on Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Rameez Raja at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the situation regarding the visit to England and to review the situation and preparations. Talking about the arrival of England, Rameez Raja claimed that he is excited to host the English team on his soil.
Rameez Raja said that England fans and cricket experts want to visit Pakistan. And witness a thrilling match between the two teams, we will announce the dates soon and the rest of the details will come later.
Rameez Raja added that it will be a good challenge for us as the England team is very capable. The English team will visit Pakistan once this year to play seven T20Is. And then its next tour will be a series of three Test matches. British High Commissioner Christian Turner said:
“We are all very excited for the UK’s autumn tour of Pakistan. And that the team is traveling to Pakistan after a long gap of 17 years. We are planning seven T20s and three Tests.
He said that we had a very positive discussion. With the PCB team and Rameez Raja regarding the details of the visit. More importantly, it is the 75th anniversary between the two countries.
