The Pakistan cricket selectors today announced the squad for the three-match ODI series. And its against the West Indies, scheduled for June 8, 10 and 12 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
However, As the series will not be played in the biosecure bubble. The selectors have decided to reduce the 21-man squad; for the home ODI series moving against Australia to 16 players.
The squad and Harris Rauf will meet on June 1 at a training camp in Rawalpindi. Hassan Ali who is currently playing in the English County Championship. Included in the squad for the practice session.
The squad includes three openers Abdullah Shafiq, Fakhr Zaman. And Imamul Haq, three middle order batsmen. In addition, Babar Azam, Iftikhar Ahmed and Khushdal Shah. And two wicket keepers / batsmen Muhammad Haris and Muhammad Rizwan.
Two spin, all-rounder Muhammad Nawaz; and Shadab Khan Zahid. Mahmood is accompanied by fellow spinners and five fast bowlers.
Similarly; shadab Khan vice-captain of the national whiteball cricket team; has returned to the squad after recovering from an injury.
The national selectors have included 16 players Haris Rauf, Hassan Ali, Muhammad Wasim Jr. and Shaheen Shah Afridi in the 21-member squad announced against Australia.
