Violation of PSL Code of Conduct

Both players have violated Article 2.6 of the PSL Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to ‘using gestures that are obscene, offensive or offensive’ during a PSL match.
The incident took place in the last over of Peshawar Zalmai’s innings when batsman Ben Cutting made inappropriate gestures using his fingers after hitting bowler Sohail Tanveer for the third consecutive six.
Sohail Tanveer caught the cutting on Naseem Shah’s hair on the first ball of the last over and made similar gestures to him again.

Islamabad United, captain Shadab Khan has once again succumbed to a chronic back injury after recovering quickly. He went back against the Karachi Kings without throwing a single ball.
Shadab Khan also batted brilliantly and scored important runs for his team. The nature of Shadab Khan’s injury is not known and he will undergo screening soon. Vice captain Asif Ali will lead the team in the next match against Peshawar Zalmi. The young bowler left the field after dismissing Babar Azam due to side strain. According to reports, Zeeshan Zameer will not be available for the eighth match of PSL 7, for Islamabad United.
Islamabad United have been facing severe difficulties since losing their key players.
Islamabad United now needs to restructure
Shadab Khan, Zeeshan Zameer and Colin Monroe, are injured while Alex Hales, has withdrawn from the rest of the PSL 7 matches, due to personal reasons. Paul Sterling had earlier left the team for national responsibilities and Rehmanullah Garbaz will also be leaving PSL soon.
After losing their key players, Islamabad United now needs to restructure the squad before the crucial matches. Islamabad United are currently third behind Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars (Sohail Tanveer fined 15%).
The two-time former PSL champion has won 4 of 7 matches so far.
