The conflict between Israeli Police and Palestinians on the 6th of May resulted in injuries. The number of affectees might vary as Israeli police and Palestinian paramedics report the count. However, reportedly the conflict injures 163 Palestinians and 6 Israeli officers. The conflict occurred in the Al Aqsa Mosque compound which is a revered location in Islam as well as Judaism. According to reports, the police in an attempt to avert protestors fired rubber bullets and stun grenade. Also, Palestinians threw plastic bottles and stones to avert the attack.

The Al Aqsa Mosque compound is already a flashpoint to such conflicts. The Palestinians were gathered to pray and spend the last Friday of the holy month Ramadan. According to the Israeli Police, the move came to restore order amid the riot. The riot between the Police and Worshippers resulted in hundreds of Palestinians injured. The Red Cross immediately set up a field hospital to treat the people with wounds. The president of Palestine held Israel for the attacks on innocent worshippers. However, officials of the Holy Site in Jerusalem called for calm and peace.
Eviction of Palestinians from East Jerusalem
Several sources reveal that the Palestinians protested ahead of Israel’s Supreme  Courtverdict. The verdict relates to the eviction of 6 Arab families from the city. In East Jerusalem, Sheik Jarrah, the Israeli Police sprayed skunk water to disperse protestors. According to sources, the decision to evict Arabs from the “Old City” is to gain total control. The East Jerusalem will be completely under the control of Israel if the verdict favors eviction.
