Good deeds to be done in the first 10 days of Dhu al-Hijjah. Dhu al-Hijjah is the last month of an Islamic calendar.One of the major pillars of Islam that are called Hajj is performed this month. Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam when Muslims worldwide visit Kaabah and celebrate the festival of sacrifice on the 10th of Dhi al-Hijjah. Festival of Sacrifice takes place all around the world in every Muslim community. 

The Prophet (peace and blessing said: 

Good deeds to be done in the first 10 days of Dhu al-Hijjah

Recitation of Quran.

Understanding and Recitation of the Quran is obligatory for every Muslim. Therefore, reading Quran in these ten days will be a great opportunity to seek Allah’s happiness.

The number of Nawaafil prayers has increased.

You can recite a few extra prayers during the day to increase your worship and good deeds.

Istighfaar

Make the most of these wonderful days by asking for forgiveness for all of our wrongdoings.

Make a large number of dhikrs.

“There are no days grander before Allah or in which good acts are more beloved to Him than these ten days,” our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stated, “so recite a great deal of tahleel, takbeer, and tahmeed during them.” [Ahmad]:

Al-hamdu Lillah, al-hamdu Lillah, al-hamdu Lillah, al-hamdu Lill (All praises be to God)

‘Laa ilaha ill-Allah,’ says Tahleel (There is no god but Allah)

Subhaan-Allah, Subhaan-Allah, Subhaan-Allah, Subhaan-Allah, Sub (Glory be to God)

Fasting

Fasting is one of the finest actions, and it is Sunnah for Muslims to fast for the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah. “All the works of the son of Adam are for him, save fasting, which is for Me and I shall reward for it,

Maintaining good ties with relatives

According to Hadees:

Islam always promoted the importance of kinship and the rights of relatives. Therefore, maintaining good ties with is extremely important in this special month.

Give as much as you can to charity during these joyful days. Finally, when Eid approaches, remember to perform your Qurbani.
