Development of Balochistan is meaningless without resolving the problems of Gwadar. Shahbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the federal government wants to solve the problems of Balochistan. Development is meaningless without solving the problems of Gwadar.




Addressing a function on the occasion of his visit to Gwadar, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that this was his second visit and it was our duty to fulfill the promises made by the government.




He said, “I assure you that we will solve the problems of Gwadar; and development is meaningless without solving the problems. We want the people of Gwadar and Balochistan to benefit from the projects. And the problems of the local people to be solve.”

“Shahbaz Sharif said that development of Gwadar is development of Balochistan and federal government wants to solve the problems of Balochistan. It is the duty of the rulers to address the problems and sufferings of the people of Balochistan.




The engine will be supplie and the company will be responsible for maintenance after delivery of the engine. He said that the engines of 2,000 boats would be distribute on merit basis.

The supply of engines will be complete in three months. That is why the project was delaye. However, a power deal has been reache with Iran and it will be presented to the cabinet on Tuesday. Iran said there was a delay in the agreement on the project by Pakistan.

Gwadar:

Announcing the allocation of 200 acres of land for setting up a residential colony for fishermen in Gwadar, the Prime Minister said that the problems of fishermen have been identified which will be addressed on priority basis.




The old water pipes of Gwadar will also be replace. And work on the pipelines will be complete in September this year. After which the water supply will start in September and the work of 100 MW power will be complete soon.

He said that Saudi Arabia, China, UAE, Turkey and other Islamic countries are our. Best friends who supported Pakistan in good times and bad. China provided 3700 solar units to the citizens of Gwadar whereas in 2014. And 2015 there were 20 hours of load shedding. And China gave us thousands of megawatts of power projects through C-Pack.

Shahbaz Sharif said that Rs 100 billion has been set aside in the budget for Balochistan, Gwadar University has come under PSDP; construction will be completed soon. It will be give that development thinking. And allocating budget for the people of Balochistan. Is not a favor to them but their right.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister said that this international standard hospital. In Gwadar would provide quality; medical facilities to the local people. The people of Gwadar will no longer have to travel to major cities for treatment.
