Boris Johnson tied the knot with his fiancée Carrie Symonds in a secret wedding held at Westminster Cathedral. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom lately tied the know with fiancée on Saturday, 29th of May 2021. According to reports, the wedding ceremony was accompanied by 30 guests, including close friends and family members. Carrie Symonds was living as the first unmarried partner at Downing Street with Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Carrie Symonds was born on the 17th of March 1988 in London. Currently, she is serving as an advisor for the ocean conservancy charity, Oceana. Also, Symonds is a conservationist and political activist living in the UK. Carrier Symonds in her early political carrier was working as Press Officer after joining the conservative party. Later, Symonds begin campaigning for the now Prime Minister, Johnson. Symonds was also heading the communication function of the conservative party. However, she discontinues working for the party later that year.
Many politicians extended their wishes for the couple. First Minister of Ireland, and Works and Pension Secretary congratulated the couple. Reportedly, there were 30 guests part of the catholic wedding ceremony. A few Church officials were prepping for the ceremony. Later, members of the public were asked to leave the Church.
The couple had a child lately in April 2020 2 weeks after Johnson leaving the Hospital. The son of Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds was named, Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson. Carrie while thanking shares that their child shares the first name of his grandfather. Wilfred Johnson was the paternal father of Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
