Video of Wasim Akram taking wicket, “Sorry, Michael Atherton, we may get older. But some things will remain the same”: Former Pakistan captain’s Twitter message to former English opener. Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram played in England on Sunday in a charity match.

“Sorry Mike Atherton, we may get older but some things will stay the same.” Wasim Akram took 414 Test wickets at an average of 23.62 in 104 matches between 1984 and 2003 and 502 ODI wickets at an average of 23.52 in 356 matches.




The most by any bowler in the history of ODI cricket after Murali Dharan. The second highest number of wickets taken by the side.
