W.H.O approves Sinovac Vaccine for emergency use to control the spread. The European Medicine Agency was reviewing China’s Sinvoca Covid-19 vaccine. The review of China’s Sinovac vaccine was in the final stages of approval in the early weeks of May 2021. The trials prevented symptomatic disease, severe symptoms, and hospitalizations in people vaccinated with Sinovac doses. However, 51% show symptomatic disease after vaccination. After Sinopharm, this vaccine becomes the second Chinese vaccine to receive W.H.O approval.
