PM announces to provide solar panels to domestic consumers in Gwadar

Solar panels will be a gift from the federal government to the people of Gwadar. According to media reports, PM Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif during his visit to Gwadar announced to provide solar panels to domestic consumers.




He directed to expedite the work of transmission lines in South Balochistan and complete it in December this year. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that solar panels would be a gift of the federal government to the people of Gwadar.

The people of Balochistan will not leave. A review meeting was held under. The chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on the progress of power transmission lines in Balochistan in which Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal and Engineer Khurram Dastgir participated.

Officials said the meeting was briefe on the construction of power transmission lines. Between Giwani, Gwadar, Pasni, Ormara, Panjgur and Iran, in which short-term and long-term plans for transmission lines are being launche.




Within six months, the government will be able to supply. An additional 100 MW of electricity from Iran to Gwadar, bringing the total power supply. To 260 MW and consumption to 236 MW.
