Value of Constitution

We get the term ‘Constitution’ from Latin word “Constitutus/Constituere” means “to set up”, “to construct” or “to make up”. Simply, constitution is the rule tome for a particular state or country. A constitution is a collection of core principles, regulations, entitlements, or accepted norms that dictate the governance and administration of a state, government, institution, or nation. This constitutes the legal basis of a country. It represents the structures and processes of government.




Every country has its own specific constitution.

Importance:

Constitutions scrutinize different levels of organizations, from supreme countries to companies. It can proclaim and spell out the nature and authority of a political section and the boundaries of it. It can divide the power between distinct layers of government or sub-states communities. Moreover, it can establish and regulate the institutions of political body. It explicates the rights and responsibilities of citizens.

It gives a detailed account of the organization of the government. In addition, it also ensures that those who make decisions on the behalf of the public fairly represents public opinion. It plays a crucial role in facilitating the smooth and proper functioning of a country. It is binding upon both the center and the state governments.

Furthermore, it guarantees justice and other rights to the all sort of public, since the constitution contains law, offences and their related punishments. The constitution is an open book of regulations and guidelines that are upheld and put into action across the designated area, with consequences for those who choose to disobey. The judiciary of the country is also bound by the constitution to decide cases accordance with the it and do not act with favoritism and extremism. It governs all and no one can violate it. Above board, it also reflects the sovereign will of the people. It lies down of the aims, objectives of people which people want to secure.

What is the need for constitution?

To bestow a set of fundamental rules that permit for coordination. To enumerate who has the power to make verdicts. It decides how the country’s government will be constituted. To set some limits on what a government can impose on its natives.
